"Visa-free transport" between Ukraine and the EU has been extended until the end of this year, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced following negotiations in Brussels on Telegram, UNN writes.
"Visa-free transport" between Ukraine and the European Union has been extended until the end of 2025. Thus, Ukrainian road carriers will continue not to need special permits.
According to him, this is the fourth extension of the agreement, "which demonstrates its effectiveness and efficiency." "Ukrainian exports by road to the EU increased by 42%, imports by road to Ukraine - by 37%," - explained the head of government.
Vice Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba noted that it is about the liberalization of freight transport between Ukraine and the European Union, which has been officially extended until December 31, 2025. "This automatic extension became possible thanks to the clear and coordinated work of our team and the European Commission," Kuleba said in Telegram, calling it "important news for Ukrainian carriers, exporters and the entire economy."
