Ukraine wants to obtain licenses for weapons production from partners and is ready to share its technologies - Zelensky
Kyiv • UNN
Ukraine seeks to obtain licenses for weapons production from partners to accelerate and reduce the cost of the process. In return, it is ready to share its own technologies, particularly in the field of drones and missiles.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine wants to obtain licenses for weapons production from partners, as it is faster and cheaper, and in return is ready to share its developments, including drones and missiles. Zelenskyy stated this at a press conference after meeting with leaders of countries in Paris, reports UNN.
The task of the relevant contingent will not only be security guarantees, or security guarantees are not only their location in strategic places. I will not go into details, but I understand some things already, because we understand and we have some agreements. But there is still training, there is education, there is production, there is co-production, there are licenses from our partners, which... this is also a very long decision, not simple, but we have already agreed with Emmanuel on some things. There are licenses that we want to obtain from partners in order to produce this in Ukraine. It's faster and cheaper, to be honest
He also emphasized the exchange of technologies as a component of cooperation with the participants of the "guarantee forces".
Our technologies, our developments during this war, which we have regarding, for example, drones, missiles, air defense - we will share these developments with those partner countries that guarantee our security with their contingent.
Recall
Ukraine does not see the deployment of UN peacekeepers or OSCE representatives as security guarantees. Ukraine is talking about a military contingent of European partners that will be present in the air, at sea and on land.
