Ukrainian defense forces attacked traction power substations in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The strikes caused power outages in several areas and are aimed at undermining the enemy's military and economic potential.
Recently, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck again at important enemy targets in Russia. In particular , a number of traction power substations in the Kursk region were hit. This was stated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Details
There are reports of enemy air defense systems and explosions in the vicinity of at least four substations. As a result, there are power outages in Ponyrovsky, Kursky and Solntsevsky districts of the Kursk region
The agency emphasizes that the strikes were carried out by the forces and means of the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU Center “A”) in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces.
The General Staff emphasizes that Russian industry working for the war against Ukraine is a legitimate target for our troops.
It is noted that these facilities, among other things, ensure the functioning of the Russian railroad, which transports weapons and military equipment to support its occupation army.
Measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the enemy will continue until the invaders stop their armed aggression against the Ukrainian people
