The U.S. President stated that no one would challenge the naval blockade of Iran. Trump expects a rapid collapse of Tehran's financial system to secure victory.

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that "no one" would challenge the U.S. blockade of ships entering and leaving Iranian ports, and expressed hope that Tehran's financial system would collapse, UNN reports, citing CNN.
"The blockade has been spectacular. It's like a piece of steel. No one is going to challenge the blockade," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.
As the United States continues its pressure campaign against Iran, Trump said the Iranians want to make a deal, despite any contradictory public statements.
"They're playing games, but let me just tell you, they want to make a deal, and who wouldn't when your troops are completely gone," Trump said.
Trump also made it clear that he wants Iran's financial system to collapse.
"Well, I think so, because we're bringing it to a collapse," he said. "I hope it collapses. You know why? Because I want to win."
