The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will purchase active headphones for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will centrally purchase 15,000 active army headphones, as well as bulletproof vests and combat helmets. Tenders for these purchases will be announced on the Prozorro.
For the first time, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will centrally purchase active army headphones for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Details
The ministry said that as part of the purchase of personal protective equipment for the military, active headphones, body armor and helmets will be purchased.

In total, they plan to buy:
- 15,000 active headphones;
- 15,000 bulletproof vests of class VI;
- 5,000 ballistic combat helmets with high cropping, not lower than protection class IIIA;

It is noted that the Ministry of Defense will announce additional tenders on the Prozorro e-procurement platform.

Active headphones are protective equipment that helps protect the hearing from damage caused by loud gunfire while enhancing the pickup of other external noises.
