The Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic upheld the sentence of Nela Lisková for inciting hatred. She called for the de-Ukrainization of the country and spread slander.

The Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic rejected the appeal of Nela Lisková, who was sentenced to eight months' probation in April 2024. According to the indictment, the activist posted hate speech on social media targeting the Pirate Party and its vice-chair, Olga Richterová. Lisková also called for the "de-Ukrainization" and "denazification" of the Czech Republic, UNN reports, citing Radio Prague.

As reported by ČTK, these were targeted and malicious attacks not covered by freedom of speech, according to the ruling published in the Constitutional Court's database.
The judges acknowledged that some aspects of the case spoke in Nela Lisková's favor. She spoke on matters of public interest, and her targets were politicians who must tolerate a high level of criticism. However, factors speaking against Lisková prevailed. In the court's opinion, these were deliberate lies aimed at specific individuals with the goal of inciting supporters and followers against them.
The Ostrava District Court sentenced Lisková to eight months of suspended imprisonment. She also had to delete her social media account. The decision was upheld by the Regional Court in Ostrava and the Supreme Court. Lisková has long denied her guilt, calling the process political. In her appeal to the Constitutional Court, she pointed to double standards. According to her, if she had attacked the SPD party or the Communists in a similar manner, she would not have ended up in court.
On social media, Lisková claimed that Richterová wanted to give apartments intended for young families to migrants from Africa. She asserted that the "Pirates" were introduced into politics solely for the purpose of the "total collapse and destruction of the Czech Republic" and that they support "perverts and Muslim killers." She also used terms such as "human waste" and "subhuman monsters."
Lisková's other posts were directed against Ukrainians, whom she wrote about as Nazis. She called for the "de-Ukrainization and denazification" of the Czech Republic.
In the past, Lisková was a member of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD), and later the SPD.
Nela Lisková gained media notoriety after leading the organization "Representative Center of the Donetsk People's Republic" and posing as the "Honorary Consul of the DPR." In 2017, a court liquidated the organization.
