Reaction of the General Staff

"The Russian military continues to terrorize the civilian, peaceful population of Ukraine. Russian invaders committed another war crime - using UAVs of the "Shahed" type, they massively attacked Poltava. They deliberately hit civilian infrastructure, residential buildings and administrative buildings of oil and gas industry enterprises. The Russian aggressor cynically continues to lie about his aspirations for peace, and continues to deliberately attack civilian objects, endangering the civilian population," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

The General Staff emphasized that "the occupiers commit war crimes on the territory of Ukraine every day. They have no statute of limitations. They are recorded, documented and transferred to the relevant international institutions. Punishment is inevitable."
