Russia is systematically trying to deprive Ukrainian children of their national identity, using about 50 special programs to reprogram their minds. This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine as stated by representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitskyi during the forum "Genocidal practices of the Russian Federation in Ukraine: from the Holodomor to the Russian-Ukrainian war," UNN reports.
Details
"After the abduction of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories, Russia is trying to deprive them of their Ukrainian identity - there are about fifty special programs on the territory of the aggressor state to reprogram the minds of Ukrainian children and youth," Skibitsky said.
He said that the removal of Ukrainian children began ostensibly for recreation, treatment, and education, and then they were transferred to Russian families to be fully assimilated into Russian propaganda and Russian society.
"It is very difficult to release Ukrainian children. We are returning literally only a few: every child has to be actually pulled out of the clutches of this three-headed dragon," the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said.
Recall
Three more children were returned from the occupied territories. Among them are two children from Mariupol and one boy from southern Ukraine.
