Soldiers of the 79th Air Assault Brigade repelled one of the largest Russian assaults in the Kurakhove sector. Ukrainian troops destroyed 6 tanks, 7 armored personnel carriers, 12 motorcycles and inflicted significant losses on the enemy in manpower.
The soldiers of the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Tauride repelled one of the largest Russian assaults during the full-scale war in the Kurakhiv sector. The soldiers reported this in their telegram channel, UNN reports.

It is noted that the occupying army simultaneously used 11 tanks, 45 armored combat vehicles with troops and 1 combat vehicle to support Terminator tanks. The Russians also attacked on motorcycles - 12 “riders” left.
The enemy columns moved out to attack at dawn. The assault began from several directions at once.
The 79th Air Force's aerial reconnaissance detected Russian equipment far away on the outskirts. Our artillery immediately began to work on the occupiers' battle lines.
The first tanks and armored combat vehicles were stopped by our attack drone operators. Then the anti-tankers started fighting. A lot of equipment exploded on mines insidiously placed by the 79th Brigade sappers.
As a result of the battle, our paratroopers shot down 6 tanks and 7 armored personnel carriers with infantry. All 12 motorized bikes were burned. The Russians suffered huge losses in manpower: 40 occupants were killed and another 37 wounded.
After the first tanks and armored vehicles were hit, the rest of the equipment fled the battlefield. Our pilots finished off the infantry that had scattered to the landings with drops.
