Russian troops shelled 5 localities in Donetsk region, killing 1 person and wounding 5.
On March 18, five settlements in Donetsk region came under hostile attack. One person was killed and five others were wounded in the shelling over the past day. Reportedly, the enemy fired 1600 times in the region over the past day, 8 of which were residential areas. Five settlements were attacked: Ocheretyne, Maksymivka, Mykolayivka, Novobakhmutivka, and Umanske.
As a result of hostile shelling, 16 civilian objects were damaged - 13 residential buildings, a club building, a trade kiosk, and a power line.
According to the police, the Russian army attacked Ocheretyne with aircraft and artillery, destroying a private and an apartment building. One person was killed and another injured.
An enemy air strike on Novobakhmutivka damaged 4 private houses.
