Night attack on Russia: 39 drones downed and substations damaged

The Russian Defense Ministry reports the destruction of 39 Ukrainian UAVs over 5 regions. Residents of the Belgorod and Orel regions report damage to two substations as a result of drone attacks.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that on the night of July 29 , regular air defense units allegedly intercepted and destroyed 39 drones over Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Bryansk and Leningrad regions. Meanwhile, residents of the Belgorod and Orel regions report that two substations were damaged by a UAV attack. This was reported by UNN.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that air defense allegedly destroyed 39 drones:
- 19 UAVs are in the Kursk region;
- nine UAVs in the Belgorod region;
- five UAVs in the Bryansk region;
- three UAVs in the Voronezh region;
- three UAVs in the Leningrad region.
Meanwhile, Russian media reported that a substation in Tomarovka, Belgorod region, caught fire after a drone attack.
Residents of Glazunovka in the south of the Oryol region filmed a drone flying overhead and the subsequent explosion.
Governor Andriy Klychkov said that two UAVs were shot down and a substation was damaged in the attack. There were no casualties.
In Kursk region, air defense systems allegedly shot down 13 Ukrainian UAVs in an hour and a half, according to the acting governor of the region, Aleksey Smirnov.
