Since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 79 times. The most active hostilities continue in the Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk directions.
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 79 times. The enemy is actively operating in the Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk directions, reports UNN with reference to the General Staff's summary.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Volfyne, Sopych, Bachivsk, Korenyok, Ryzhivka, Yastrubshchyna, Ulanove, Hirky, Potapivka were affected; in the Chernihiv region – Buchky. Vilna Sloboda was subjected to an airstrike.
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the occupiers attacked the positions of our defenders 11 times, six of which are still ongoing, carried out 34 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the invaders tried seven times to break through the defense in the areas of the settlements of Lyman, Vovchansk, Artilne and towards the settlements of Zybine, Sheviakivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy is carrying out two attacks towards the settlement of Kurylivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Borova, Stavky, Lyman, Dibrova, Ozerne. Five combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy attacks towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the area of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks towards Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, our defenders repelled 16 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, four attacks are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried seven times to dislodge our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Dorozhnie, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne and towards the settlements of Shevchenko, Serhiivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy tried three times to advance in the area of the settlement of Tolstoy.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Tsvitkove, Charivne. Two combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the area of Shcherbaky.
In the Dnipro direction, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.
In other directions, no significant changes in the situation are currently taking place, the General Staff summarized.
