Kazakhstan has organized 59 police checkpoints on the border with Russia to control fuel export. Since the beginning of the year, 255 cases of illegal equipping of vehicles with additional fuel tanks have been detected.

It is noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan continues systematic work to verify facts of illegal fuel exports using vehicles illegally equipped with additional fuel tanks.
To ensure control near automobile checkpoints across the state border, the work of 59 police posts has been organized, where police officers, together with interested state bodies, inspect vehicles crossing the state border
Since the beginning of the year, 255 cases of operation of vehicles with illegally equipped additional fuel tanks have been identified in Kazakhstan.
All violators have been brought to administrative responsibility under Part 7 of Article 590 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses. Among those held accountable are 195 foreign citizens and 60 citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After dismantling the illegally installed additional fuel tanks, the vehicles were returned to their owners.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan calls on citizens and carriers to strictly comply with legal requirements and reminds that any attempts to illegally export fuel and lubricants will be promptly detected and stopped.
