It is noted that Joandre Blom was fishing with a friend in shallow water near the town of Brits. His friend Dylan noticed that Joandre was sharply pulled under the water - he began calling adults for help, while trying to hold his friend's hand.
Joandre's father, Corne, rushed into the water to grab the boy, who was grabbed by a 3-meter reptile. In the end, the boy was rescued only by the joint efforts of three people
When Joandre was pulled out of the water, it turned out that he had no arm. One of Johandre's friends went back into the water in a boat to try to find his friend's arm, and the crocodile attacked again. However, this time everything went well.
"Joandre is a very strong boy. He was conscious the whole time he was waiting for the ambulance. He is so brave. He loves to fish and go to nature, and has always been a happy child. A crocodile of this size could kill an adult. It's a miracle he survived," said the organizer of the fundraising for the boy's treatment.
