A 19-year-old tourist from Ukraine engraved his initials on the wall of the Colosseum. He was detained, fined and drawn up a report, and the mayor of Rome condemned this act of vandalism.

A tourist on vacation carved initials on the wall of the Colosseum. According to , the perpetrator is a 19-year-old man of Ukrainian origin. He was  informed about the act and fined.

The man was immediately stopped and contacted by Celio police officers; he was taken to the police station, where a report was drawn up and he was fined.
