According to Oleksandr Dybov, head of the Kyiv City Police Department for Combating Drug Crimes, law enforcement officers documented the facts of illegal sale in three pharmacies of one of the pharmacy chains of combined narcotic drugs, containing codeine.

Under the procedural guidance of the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor's Office of investigators served four pharmacy employees suspicion notices under Part 1 Article 320 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of the established rules of circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors.
In accordance with the sanction incriminated the defendants in the article, they face imprisonment for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
