Head of National Police: Suspect in Kyiv Terrorist Attack Scene Escape is a Patrol Officer, but Worked in the Apparatus
Kyiv • UNN
Ivan Vyhivskyi stated that the suspect worked in the department's apparatus and was assigned to patrols due to staff shortages. The court arrested her for negligence.

The head of the National Police of Ukraine, Ivan Vyhivskyi, commented on media reports regarding the status of employee Anna Dudina, who is suspected of fleeing the scene of a terrorist attack in Kyiv. According to him, she is indeed a patrol police officer, but performed other functions, UNN reports.
Details
Vyhivskyi noted that the information that Anna Dudina is not a patrol officer is incorrect.
Yesterday, I saw in media publications that they wrote that she was not a patrol officer. Well, this is not entirely correct interpretation. This employee, she is a patrol police officer, but she did not work on the line before, but worked in the apparatus, let's say, in the department. And her functionality was a little different
In addition, the official reported a staff shortage in the patrol police. He added that Dudina was involved in patrols precisely during this period due to the need for reinforcement.
"Today, the understaffing in the patrol police is about twenty-five percent. In Kyiv, it's even more. And, of course, when there is a need, and we still have to react, arrive in advance, then such employees are involved in such patrols for reinforcement. That is, she was not systematically and on a permanent basis in response patrols, but was involved precisely during this period," emphasized the head of the National Police of Ukraine.
Recall
The Pechersk court chose a pre-trial detention measure for Anna Dudina in the form of detention. The patrol officer is accused of negligence that led to the death of people.
