Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis is expected to discuss Montenegro's European integration during a visit to Podgorica. According to the publication, Athens wants to help at least one Balkan country complete its path to EU membership.
Montenegro has been conducting accession negotiations since 2012 and hopes to become the 28th member of the European Union by 2028. At the same time, the Greek side is exploring the possibility of speeding up this process and achieving the country's accession by the end of 2027.
