Georgian Foreign Ministry condemns decision to suspend the country's integration into the EU

Georgian interior ministry officials have condemned the authorities ' decision to suspend EU membership until 2028. Protests broke out in the country, and diplomats declared the threat of isolation of the state.

More than 80 employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia on Thursday evening, November 28 issued a joint statement condemning the decision of the authorities to suspend the country's European integration. The signatories distributed the texts of the statement in social networks, writes UNN.
Currently, the joint statement has been signed by 87 current employees of the Georgian Foreign Ministry, including representatives of the Department of Euro – Atlantic integration, the International Legal Department of the Foreign Ministry, and Georgian embassies in different countries of the world.
