Details
It is noted that, without changing the structure of the French armed forces, this law aims to take into account the lessons learned in Ukraine and the Middle East, particularly regarding the importance of stocks of missiles and shells, as well as the dominant role of drones, to boost investments in these sectors.
We owe this to the French people, ... because the context demands it. High-intensity warfare has returned to Europe. The balance of power is intensifying, and hybrid, cyber, space, and information threats are multiplying
The publication notes that the law introduces a special mechanism - a "national security alert state." It will be activated in the event of a serious threat to the country. This regime also grants the government emergency powers.
