Fingerprints will be taken from Ukrainian citizens in occupied Luhansk region

In the occupied Luhansk region, Ukrainians who do not have Russian passports are required to have their fingerprints taken; those who do not face deportation.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, Ukrainian citizens will be fingerprinted. This was reported by the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, UNN reports.

It is noted that Ukrainians without Russian passports in the occupied Luhansk region are considered foreign citizens, and therefore are required to undergo mandatory fingerprinting and photographing, as well as to be registered in the migration registration.

The Luhansk Regional Military Administration reminded that in Starobilsk the occupation authorities began to forcibly issue documents of foreign citizens or or stateless persons to those locals who have not issued Russian passports. These documents are valid until 2024.
In addition, from July 1, 2024, a person who has not received a a person who has not received a Russian passport will be recognized as a foreign citizen. If such a person poses a threat to the occupiers, he or she will be deported.
