In the first match of the new game day (European time), the England national team defeated the DR Congo team, not without problems. In response to a quick goal by Congolese player Tsipenga, the British leader Kane scored a brace - 2:1.
In the 1/8 final match, England will face the co-hosts of the Mundial, the Mexicans.
Later, the winner was determined by the national teams of Senegal and Belgium. And here a real drama unfolded. In response to goals by Diarra and Sarr, the Europeans answered with accurate strikes by Tielemans and Lukaku at the end of regular time.
And already in the added time of extra time, the same Tielemans set the final score - 3:2 in favor of Belgium, which in the next round of the playoffs will meet the winner of the pair USA - Bosnia and Herzegovina.
