It is noted that the cause of death was an accident. Dale Haddon died of carbon monoxide poisoning in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, at the home of her son-in-law, actor Mark Blucas.

According to NBC News, police said the investigation into the incident was ongoing and called it a "tragedy.
Two medics who were assisting were exposed to high concentrations of carbon monoxide and were taken to the hospital. One Salbury Township police officer was treated at the scene, the department said.
Born and raised in Montreal, Dale Haddon became one of the most famous models of the 70s and 80s. Harper's Bazaar magazine twice included her in the top ten most beautiful women in the world.
