Britain is convening over 30 countries to discuss pressure on Iran and shipping safety. Participants oppose the introduction of fees for passage through the strait.

Next week, Great Britain is convening another meeting of countries to plan the restoration of free movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, UNN reports with reference to AP.
Details
A British official familiar with the plans said that high-ranking officials would participate in the meeting, and disagreement with the idea of charging a fee for passage through this waterway would be emphasized.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss government plans.
The meeting will take place after a telephone conversation between foreign ministers on April 2, involving about 40 countries, and a military meeting this week, in which about 30 countries participated.
The talks discussed the use of diplomatic and economic pressure, such as sanctions, on Iran to restore the operation of the key oil route, as well as military plans for the safety of ships after the end of the conflict.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that it is extremely important to have a "viable plan" for restoring the strait's operation and restarting the global economy.
