Bad weather in Ukraine has left 225 settlements in five regions without power; restoration work continues and main roads remain passable
In Ukraine, 225 cities, towns and villages in five regions are without power supply amid deteriorating weather conditions, while the main roads are open, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Thursday, UNN reported.

According to Ukrenergo, 225 settlements in 5 regions (Donetsk - 154, Dnipro - 38, Kharkiv - 25, Kirovohrad - 4 and Chernihiv - 4) are without power.
Regional power company crews are involved in restoring power supply.
According to the State Agency for Reconstruction, public roads are free for traffic.

According to the forecast, moderate sleet and rain (mostly rain in the southern part), ice and sleet accumulation in some places in Ukraine during the day; significant precipitation in the northeastern regions. On the roads, except in the south of the country, there will be ice cover in some places.
