The details of possible cooperation, the stage of negotiations and the position of the Ukrainian side are not disclosed at this time.
The initiative came amid another statement by Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz that Warsaw will not transfer additional MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. The Polish side also claimed that Kyiv allegedly failed to implement agreements on exchanging aircraft for Ukrainian drone technologies.
According to Defense Express, Poland has already transferred 14 MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. At the same time, the possibility of transferring nine more aircraft from those remaining in service with the Polish Air Force was previously discussed.
At the same time, PGZ states its intention to expand cooperation with the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex. In particular, the company signed a memorandum of intent with Ukrainian TAF Industries and expects joint production of drones and technology exchange.
