Viktor Mihály Orbán was born on May 31, 1963, in Székesfehérvár, Hungarian People's Republic. He received his law degree from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and completed an internship at Pembroke College, Oxford, thanks to a Soros Foundation scholarship. He began his political career as a co-founder of the Fidesz party, later becoming its leader and being elected as a Member of Parliament. He served as Prime Minister of Hungary from 1998 to 2002 and has held the position since 2010.
