President Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address described the results of a meeting with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin on Monday and announced a new package of military assistance from the United States. The meeting was announced in the press service of the Presidential Office, reports UNN.
We discussed the situation on the battlefield and its prospects – how we can strengthen both our defense and our movement. There is a new defense package for our state from the United States. I'm grateful. In particular, there will be more artillery – shells that are needed right now

Ukraine was visited by the United States Secretary of Defense. President Zelensky noted that he had a very productive conversation with him and noted that it took place on the eve of a new meeting in the Ramstein format.
In addition to the situation at the front, the parties discussed Ukrainian actions in the Black Sea and the protection of our export corridor.

The next meeting of the Contact Group on defense of Ukraine "Ramstein" will be held on November 22. This will be the 17th meeting in this format.
