On July 9, in an interview with Politico, he said that Kyiv intends to ask the United States at the NATO summit in Washington to allow the use of American weapons for strikes deep into Russian territory. Washington has not yet reviewed the policy of lifting the strike restrictions, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on July 11. US President Joe Biden has also ruled out authorizing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike Moscow and the Kremlin.
