VAKS extended the arrest of the head of the Khmelnitsky MSEC Tatyana Krupa, but reduced the bail by 20 million

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court extended the arrest of former head of the Khmelnitsky MSEC Tetiana Krupa until January 26, 2025 and reduced the amount of bail. This became known from the broadcast of the court session, the correspondent reports UNN.

VAKS extended the measure of restraint for Tatiana Krupa until January 26, 2025, reducing the amount of bail from 300 to 280 million Hryvnia. The defense insisted that this amount is a record and excessive. 

The terms of pre-trial investigation of the case were also extended until April 2025. Prosecutors explained that it is necessary to complete a number of procedural actions, including the analysis of documents seized during searches, conducting expert examinations and interrogations. 

In addition, it is planned to submit international requests, because bank accounts of cereals and significant funds were found abroad.

Recall 

MSEC official Tetiana Krupa and her son, the head of the Regional Department of the PFU in the Khmelnitsky region, were convicted of illegally enriching millions of dollars. 

During the searches, they found only almost 6 million US Dollars in cash in various currencies.

On October 5, law enforcement officers detained and reported suspicion of illegal enrichment to the head of the Khmelnitsky Regional Center for medical and social expertise.

On October 7, The Pechersk Court of Kiev chose a preventive measure for the head of the regional MSEC. She was taken into custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of 500 million hryvnias.

Later, on November 21, the Appeals Chamber of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court decided to keep Tetiana Krupa in custody with the alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 300 million.
