Parviz Nasibov and Zhan Belenyuk were among the top three Greco-Roman wrestlers according to UWW. Both athletes won medals at the Olympic Games in Paris and the European Championships.

The United World of wrestling (UWW) has published its final ranking for 2024. The top three in their weight categories included Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestlers: Parviz Nasibov and Zhan Belenyuk, reports UNN with reference to the NOC.

When compiling the rating, the results of the Olympic Games, World Championships, continental championships, as well as rating tournaments were taken into account.

Having become the third prize-winner of the Olympic Games in Paris, Viborov won the bronze medal of the champion of Europe and won the victory at the prestigious rating tour of the Zagreb Open.
