Negotiations between the Ukrainian and American teams in Saudi Arabia will be of a technical nature. There will be no contact with the Russians, and the meeting is needed to determine the monitoring of the ceasefire.
The meeting of the Ukrainian team with the American team on Monday in Saudi Arabia is a technical round, not a political one. No contacts with the Russians are planned. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgy Tikhy, during a briefing, reports UNN.

Tikhyy noted that if Putin and Russia had agreed to this proposal, this ceasefire could already be in effect.
