Trump's support fell to the lowest level since returning to office – 43%. The reason is the outrage of Americans at his tariff policy and the leak of information about strikes on Yemen.

U.S. President Donald Trump's support has fallen to 43%, the lowest since he returned to office. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Reuters in conjunction with Ipsos, UNN reports.
Details
It is noted that Trump's rating fell, in particular, due to the outrage of Americans at his tariff plans and the leak of information about military strikes on Yemen.
The three-day poll, which ended on Wednesday, showed that approval of Trump's performance as president fell by 2 percentage points compared to a poll conducted March 21-23, and 4 points lower than the 47% approval he had shortly after taking office on January 20.
The authors clarify that respondents "gave Trump poor marks" for his management of the economy, with 37% approving, while only 30% approved of his work in addressing the high cost of living.
About half of respondents - 52% - agreed with the statement that raising tariffs on cars and auto parts, part of the new duties Trump announced on Wednesday, would hurt people close to them, and about the same share said raising tariffs would do more harm than good. About a third of Americans - mostly from Trump's Republican Party - said they disagreed with statements that tariffs would do harm
It is also noted that only 34% of respondents in the survey approved of Trump's foreign policy, compared to 37% in the March 21-23 survey. At the same time, about 48% of respondents approve of Trump's immigration actions.
The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, conducted online and nationwide, surveyed 1,486 adult Americans with a margin of error of about 3 percentage points.
Recall
Americans are concerned that U.S. President Donald Trump is too closely linked to Russia. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Reuters in conjunction with Ipsos. Thus, more than half (56%) of Americans, including one in four Republican supporters, agreed with the statement that Trump is too close to Moscow. At the same time, 40% of respondents disagreed with this statement.
