The Presidential Office proposes to introduce mandatory military service for all citizens, regardless of gender

All Ukrainians, regardless of gender, must undergo military service in the Armed Forces. This was stated in an interview with BIHUS Info by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa, reports UNN.

Details

According to him, Ukraine should borrow the experience of Israel, where military service is a mandatory part of citizens' lives and gives access to state privileges.

If a citizen applies for a position, education or receiving payments from the budget, then he must serve. Suppose a minimum contract - let it be annual

- explained Palisa.

According to him, both men and women should serve in the Armed Forces, because in the modern army there are many tasks for which everyone can find a place. At the same time, military service will allow everyone to undergo basic military training and gain experience for further enrollment in the reserve.

"If you want to become a deputy or manager, or enter the budget - serve. Otherwise you won't be able to", - said the deputy head of the OP.

Recall

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft law, which provides for changes in the rules for granting deferrals for students and teachers. According to the document, students of vocational education institutions and students of professional higher education who started their studies before the age of 25 and who study in the daytime or dual form of education are not subject to conscription during mobilization.
