Russian troops cannot effectively evacuate the wounded due to a lack of armored vehicles and the threat from drones. In Novosibirsk, wounded soldiers staged a riot due to insufficient medical care.

Russian troops have significant problems evacuating the wounded due to a lack of armored vehicles and the threat of drone strikes. This leads to an increase in deaths among wounded soldiers, according to a new report by the British Ministry of Defense, reports UNN.

According to the report, on November 14, the Russian independent news agency Astra reported that dozens of wounded Russian soldiers staged a riot in Novosibirsk due to insufficient medical care. Soldiers from the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District reportedly complained of ill-treatment by the unit commander and did not want to return to the front without proper medical care. They are said to have broken windows and damaged barracks, and 10 people left the area.

The lack of armored vehicles and the threat of using unmanned aerial vehicles lead to significant delays in the evacuation of wounded Russian soldiers. This almost certainly increases the likelihood of more serious injuries and deaths among those who eventually manage to evacuate through the medical system

- according to British intelligence.

According to the Ukrainian General Staff, since February 2022, Russia has suffered more than 700,000 losses, of which about 500,000 Russian servicemen have been wounded.

As noted in the British Defense Ministry, it is safe to say that such large-scale losses continue to create a burden on the Russian military medical system at all levels of medical care, causing significant problems with logistics and leading to a shortage of medical personnel. These problems are likely to persist for at least the next three months, according to British intelligence.
