Russians destroyed more than 26,000 hectares of Luhansk forests, with losses exceeding 180 billion hryvnias.

More than 26 thousand hectares of forest have been destroyed by Russians in Luhansk region, the amount of damage has already reached more than 180 billion hryvnias, the Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported on Facebook on Tuesday, UNN reports.

The occupiers continue to destroy the natural environment of the Luhansk region. But no crime of the Russian Federation will go unpunished. The damage caused to our forests is only growing. According to preliminary estimates, the enemy's artillery, aircraft, and heavy flamethrower systems have destroyed more than 26 thousand hectares of forests in Luhansk region. The total amount of damage caused by air pollution has already reached UAH 180,417,427,388 thousand

said Natalia Romanenko, deputy head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

She emphasized that the documented facts of Russian crimes will add to the general list of damage caused by the enemy's actions and will be used to prepare a lawsuit to the International Court of Justice.
