Russia is actively using motorcycles to attack in the Lyman and Novopavlivka directions, trying to quickly slip through to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Recently, Russians have been actively using motorcycles for their attacks in the Lyman and Novopavlivka directions. In particular, yesterday they repelled the largest motorcycle landing with 40 units of two-wheeled vehicles.

This was announced on the telethon by Viktor Tregubov, Major, spokesman of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia", reports the correspondent of UNN.

There are a large number of large spaces in the Lyman and Novopavlivka directions. Attacks on motorcycles have become very typical there recently. Seeing an attack on 40 motorcycles is no longer something extraordinary, but something that is already expected in principle. Yesterday there was one, I don't remember the specific settlement, but yesterday there was an attack on 40 motorcycles plus buggies

- said Tregubov.

According to him, the active use of light equipment is due to the fact that the Russians are trying to quickly cross the distance to Ukrainian positions, and possibly even quickly gain a foothold behind them. In fact, he called it a motorcycle landing. He also added that the Russians use light equipment to slip through mine barriers and avoid being hit by UAVs.

This is not very effective, but they are convinced that it is cheaper for them (the Russians - ed.) than spending money on armored vehicles

- said Tregubov.

As for how the equipment of the Russians is changing, Tregubov noted that when it comes to high-tech equipment, it is a large number of drones on fiber optics, in particular FPV drones.

They are strong here, they have a certain industrial base. They are also actively scaling up protection against drones. Including anti-drone nets - this is their know-how

- comments the Major.

The Major also attributed the improvised vehicles of the Russians to the low-tech know-how of the Russians, in particular the use of simple fishing boats to cross rivers, and the increase in cases of using civilian cars, etc.
