Polish farmers plan to allow only one truck a day to pass through the Uhryniv border crossing in the direction of Poland and three trucks every six hours in the direction of Ukraine, which will significantly reduce cross-border truck traffic.
Ukrainian border guards today received information from their Polish colleagues that Polish farmers plan to let only one truck a day through the Uhryniv checkpoint towards Poland and three trucks every six hours towards Ukraine. This was announced by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon on Wednesday, an UNN correspondent reports.

"In recent days, we have seen that Polish farmers are blocking only three directions of the checkpoints: "Yahodyn, Uhryniv, and Rava-Ruska," Demchenko said.
According to him, in the direction of the Yahodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints, Polish farmers do not let trucks traveling from Ukraine to Poland through at all.
Demchenko also said that Polish farmers in the direction of the Uhryniv checkpoint plan to let only one truck a day go through to Poland.
Today, we received information from our Polish colleagues that Polish farmers plan to allow only one truck per day to cross into Poland and three trucks every six hours to cross into Ukraine. This means a significant reduction in the possibility of crossing the border by trucks
He also said that as of this morning, there were about 300 trucks in line at three destinations, with the largest number of trucks in front of Yahodyn.
"We also have queues at the previously unblocked three checkpoints Krakivets, Shehyni and Ustyluh, as trucks are actively using the directions that are not blocked. The longest queue is observed in front of Krakivets - about 700 trucks, and Shehyni - about 400. But the traffic here is quite intense," said Demchenko.
