Uglava believes that attempts are being made to discredit him. To this end, a whole media campaign has been launched, accompanied by loud accusations, but no real evidence of his involvement in the leakage of information from the NABU has been provided.
The paid-for nature of this campaign was confirmed by Vitaliy Shabunin, who announced my dismissal even before the results of the internal investigation and the NABU's “repair” were announced
In his opinion, society has the right to know the truth. Since Uglava himself is legally obliged to keep official information confidential, he calls on the NABU and the SAPO to make the case file public.
Openly informing the public will help avoid manipulation and ensure a full understanding of the situation.
As previously reported, Shabunin and the AntAC launched an attack on NABU after losing control and operational communication with the agency.
According to media reports, AntAC activists who attended an off-record meeting at the SAPO a few months ago were involved in the leak of information about criminal cases.
