According to the creators of the project, the oldest Easter eggs in the collection come from the Hutsul region and date back to 1890 and Volhynia, 1894. Until now, only researchers and museum staff had access to these exhibits. For digitization, we chose the oldest Easter eggs-those that preserve authentic paintings and a thousand-year tradition, although they are already experiencing the third Great War.
Digitized Ukrainian Easter eggs from the Museum of ethnography and crafts of the Institute of folk studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine will soon be available on the project's website, where 250 monuments and 50 3D models will be placed.
