In Zhytomyr, a man tried to escape from the TCC by spraying a pepper spray can: details of the incident

Today, April 9, a video was spread online showing two employees of the TCC and SP detaining a man in Zhytomyr. The TCC said that the man tried to escape from the official car after using a pepper spray. The territorial center also stressed that the video captures the moment of stopping the citizen to prevent escape. This is reported by the Zhytomyr Regional TCC and SP, reports UNN.

Details

According to the TCC, this morning, April 9, in Zhytomyr, near the intersection of Gogolivska and Princes Ostroh streets, an event took place, which was captured on video by citizens.

In order to prevent the spread of manipulative or distorted information, we inform the following: a representative of the Zhytomyr OMTCC and SP, together with the driver in an official car, was escorting citizen Shcherbatykh, born in 1999, to undergo a military medical commission (MMC). During the journey, the citizen took out a pepper spray and used it, directing it at the face of the driver and the escort

- noted in the TCC.

The territorial center emphasized that in order to avoid an accident, the driver reacted quickly and stopped the official car, but taking advantage of the moment, the citizen began to flee.

The video captures the moment of stopping the citizen to prevent escape, but it was not possible to hold him, because at that time both servicemen had not yet recovered from the effect of the pepper solution

- added in the TCC.

Context

Today, a video appeared in local public pages showing two soldiers trying to "twist" a man who resisted.

Recall

The Rivne Regional TCC and SP reacted to the statements of the head of the Second Department of the Dubno District TCC and SP, Yuriy Kovalyuk, who recently stated that commanders "put" soldiers in battalions to get a medal, noting that the statements made in the fourth year of the full-scale war do not contribute to strengthening the defense capability of the state.
