First of all, I want to emphasize that from the very beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, our attitude in Poland towards Ukraine and towards Russia as an aggressor has been very clear: we have supported Ukraine from the first days of the war. We also support the people of Ukraine. And many of them came to Poland. (...) I discussed our relations with Ukraine with Prime Minister Donald Tusk. We have a stable policy in this direction. There are no contradictions about the need to help Ukraine. Tusk agrees with me on the issue of signing the agreement and we will also have a new agreement. And I am convinced that when the negotiations on the agreement are completed, we will sign it
He also noted that Poland is participating in a Czech initiative aimed at helping Ukraine purchase ammunition.
You can be sure that we will support Ukraine until peace prevails. We are acting and we will be active. Until security prevails, until peace is restored
