Ruslan Shishigin, 32, who attacked a girl last year because of her blue hair, died in the war in Ukraine. The occupier was posthumously nominated for the Order of Courage, despite a previous sentence of 3 years in prison.

Ruslan Shishigin, a Russian occupier who tried to drown a girl in a fountain last year because of her blue hair color, died in the war against Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Astra Telegram channel.

"32-year-old Ruslan Shyshigin was killed in the war in Ukraine on August 20, but his obituary has only just appeared on social media. Shyshigin was posthumously presented by the command with the Order of Courage," the statement said.

The occupier became "famous" last August when he and a friend attacked an 18-year-old girl with blue hair in Kamensk-Uralsky (Sverdlovsk region). They were outraged by the girl's hair and the fact that she "looked like a Jew." The victim's mother said that Shishigin and his friend were shouting that they had just returned from the war.

It is noted that in October 2013, the court sent Shishigin to prison for three years, but he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense in the spring of 2024.

Recall

Refugees from the village of olgovka in Kursk region have appealed to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to "end this damn war." Residents of the village complain that they have been left homeless because of the war, and in the evacuation they do not have enough payments from the authorities to rent housing.
