A fire broke out in a nine-story building in Mykolaiv as a result of a short circuit in the power grid in a meter. Rescuers evacuated 40 people, including one child.

In Mykolaiv, a fire broke out in a nine-story building, 40 people were evacuated, including one child. This was reported by the State Emergency Service on Tuesday, UNN reports

Details 

Reportedly, on the second floor of the nine-story building, there was a short circuit in the power grid in the meter. 

This caused dense smoke in the entrance. Smoke began to seep into the apartments. 

Rescuers brought about 40 people out into the open air. Of these, 15  were evacuated  with the help of rescue kits, and four were lowered by a retractable ladder, including one child.  

The fire was quickly extinguished, with no casualties or injuries.
