Kyiv • UNN
As a result of shelling, some consumers in 5 regions are without power; due to bad weather, consumers in 7 regions are without power. Electricity consumption increased by 3.2%; Ukrainians are urged to conserve energy from 10:00 to 23:00.

Electricity consumption in Ukraine continues to rise; Ukrainians are urged to save energy during the day, while enemy attacks have cut off power to some residents in five regions and bad weather in seven, the Ministry of Energy and NPC Ukrenergo reported on Friday, UNN writes.
As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kherson, Sumy and Kharkiv regions are temporarily without electricity
Restoration work is continuing wherever the security situation allows. Energy workers are working to restore electricity to Ukrainians' homes as quickly as possible.
Due to bad weather, 118 settlements in the Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Kirovohrad, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy and Chernivtsi regions remain without electricity
Repair crews are working on restoration efforts.
No restrictions are forecast to be introduced today. Where possible, we urge you to use electricity sparingly from 10:00 to 23:00. This helps reduce the load on the system
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has increased. Today, August 7, as of 09:30, it was 3.2% higher than at the same time the previous day—Thursday. The reason for the change is hot weather across Ukraine, prompting consumers to use air conditioners en masse. In addition, rain in some southwestern regions has reduced the efficiency of household solar power plants, leading to a corresponding increase in the amount of electricity consumed from the national grid. Yesterday, August 6, the daily consumption peak was recorded in the evening. It was 1.3% higher than the previous day—Wednesday, August 5. The reason was record heat in some regions of Ukraine.
Hot weather today makes it necessary to use energy sparingly from 10:00 to 23:00 (in particular, in Kyiv and the region, as well as in Odesa region). Please move energy-intensive activities (washing clothes, heating the water heater, using the dishwasher…) to nighttime hours, when the load on the power system will decrease
