The President discussed the provision of payments and bonuses to defenders performing missions in Russia. Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of a quick process without bureaucracy for the military.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with the Minister of Defense, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada and the Office that all payments, bonuses and other things provided for the front line should be guaranteed and quickly provided for Ukrainian soldiers - for all defenders who are performing combat missions in Russia. He said this in a video message, UNN reports.
"I discussed separately with Defense Minister Umerov, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada and the Office that all payments, bonuses and other things provided for the front line should be guaranteed and quickly provided for our soldiers - for all defenders who perform combat missions on the territory of the aggressor state. And without any bureaucracy for our soldiers," Zelensky said.
He emphasized that this is a general and mandatory policy of Ukraine - Ukrainian defenders must be protected from any bureaucratic pressure.
"We also discussed today at a special meeting new decisions and legislative initiatives that we are preparing for August and which will definitely strengthen our state, our defense, our society," Zelensky said.
