Ukraine to launch new train schedule with 14 new routes

The new train schedule in Ukraine from December 10 includes 14 new routes - 11 domestic and 3 international - and changes to 19 existing ones, improving connections and reducing travel time
A new train schedule will be launched in Ukraine on December 10. There will be 14 new flights: 11 domestic and 3 international. There are also improvements to 19 flights, as well as new regional connections. UNN reports this with reference to information from Ukrzaliznytsia.

Among the key updates of the international direction in 2024:
- New train #119/120 Dnipro - Chełm. This train has a convenient connection in the direction of Warsaw. It will speed up the journey to the Polish capital by 4 hours compared to the connection through Przemysl.
- The new international trains Chop-Vienna and Chop-Prague connect with a number of trains in Ukraine.
- The speed of the train #35/36 Odesa-Premyshl-Odesa is being accelerated. Travel time from Odesa to Przemyśl will be reduced by 50 minutes. From Przemyśl to Odesa - by almost 2 hours. Acceleration of the train 35/36 Odesa - Przemyśl will give twice as much time for transfer to the train IC56 Przemyśl (07:23) - Berlin (17:06).
A number of domestic routes within Ukraine have also been assigned:
- #51/52 Odesa - Zaporizhzhia, which will run every other day, giving residents of Dnipro an additional option to travel to Odesa.
- #129/130 Kremenchuk - Chernivtsi, which will run every other day. For the first time, Chernivtsi will have a direct connection with Kremenchuk and an alternative opportunity to get to Kyiv and other cities along the route.
- No. 216/215 Zaporizhzhia - Chernivtsi, which will run daily and connect Bukovyna with Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia.
- No. 193/192 Kryvyi Rih - Yasinia, which will run every other day and for the first time will connect Kryvyi Rih with the Carpathians.
- No. 345/346 Uzhhorod - Chernivtsi, which will run daily and will restore the historic direct connection between Zakarpattia and Bukovyna via the popular ski resort of Slavske.
- #28/27 Kyiv - Mukachevo, included in the schedule for peak dates, will connect the capital with Slavske and Zakarpattia with a new daytime service.
- #145/146 Sumy - Rakhiv will connect the north with ski resorts in Prykarpattia and Zakarpattia.
- No. 365/366 Lutsk - Rakhiv will allow residents of Lutsk and Rivne to get connections to Morshyn, Dolyna, Kalush, Frankivsk, Yaremche, Bukovel, and Vorokhta. Lviv will also get the most convenient connection to the mountainous areas.
- No. 368/367 Lutsk-Uzhhorod will connect Lutsk with Lviv, Mukachevo, and Chop.
- Intercity #747/748 Kyiv - Ternopil will run daily and provide comfortable morning and evening connections for residents of Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, and Vinnytsia with the capital.
- Intercity №745/746 Kyiv - Lviv, which guarantees the long-awaited morning connection between Lviv and Kyiv.

In addition to assigning new ones, Ukrzaliznytsia is working on improving existing schedules and routes:
- Train #25/26 Odesa - Rakhiv got a more convenient evening departure from Odesa at 18:20 instead of 14:02.
- The route of train #357/358 Kyiv - Vorokhta will be extended to Yasinya station, where popular trips to the mountains start.
- Train 95/96 Kyiv (20:31) - Rakhiv (10:56) becomes a branded train for family trips to the mountains with maximum comfort.
- Trains #5/6 Zaporizhzhia - Yasinia, #40/39 Zaporizhzhia - Solotvyno and the train Lutsk - Uzhhorod, which received a new numbering 368/367 in the new schedule, become daily.
