On Thursday, December 12, a large-scale warehouse fire broke out in Novosibirsk, Russia, with an area of 5,000 square meters. As it turned out, the building burned down, belonging to a company that provided services to strategically important Russian facilities, including energy infrastructure.

The incident was reported by Russian Telegram channels, UNN reports .

Details

According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the building was used to store products, including plastic products and cable fittings. More than 60 rescuers, 20 pieces of equipment and a special fire train were used to extinguish the fire.

According to preliminary information, the fire started from the roof, and then partially collapsed the structures.

At the same time , the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko , clarified that it was not just an ordinary warehouse that burned down in Novosibirsk, but a military facility.

It belonged to a company that supported the activities of strategically important facilities and enterprises in Russia, including energy infrastructure and enterprises that manufacture explosive protection equipment
