Restoration of Kyiv Region: CRMA told how the reconstruction of a residential high-rise building in Myla is underway

The CRMA spoke about the reconstruction of a multi-storey residential building in Mile, Kyiv region, which was damaged by Russian aggression in the spring of 2022.
So far, almost 17,500 facilities out of more than 29,000 damaged as a result of Russian aggression have been restored in Kyiv region. Another 97 objects will be restored at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. One of them is a multi-storey building at 38 Komarova Street in Mile, Buchansky district. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported on the progress of the work, UNN reports.

According to the CRMA, the residential building suffered significant damage in the spring of 2022. The roof and brick structures of the 5th floor were damaged, windows and doors were smashed, common areas, the facade were damaged, and utilities were destroyed.
Repair work began in the early summer of 2023, CRMA said.
- The contractors dismantled the damaged structures of the building.
- The damaged walls and ceilings were rebuilt.
- The specialists replaced the broken windows and doors, restored the facade and roof.
- Water supply and sewerage networks and individual heating have already been restored in the building.
According to CRMA, the contractor is currently working on repairs inside the apartments. Next, the builders will continue interior work to restore common areas, apartments and complete roof repairs.
As Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the KRMA, told , the region is rebuilding apartment buildings and private houses first. As Kravchenko pointed out, everything is being done "so that people can return home and make plans for the future in Ukraine.
In total, according to Kravchenko, we will restore 18 apartment buildings in Kyiv region at the expense of UNITED24. These are Myla, Borodyanka, Irpin, Gostomel, Buzova.
