Already in the first half, the teams traded goals, scoring five times. Harry Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 17th minute, after which Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Neves put PSG ahead. Bayern equalized through Olise, but before the break, Ousmane Dembélé converted a penalty to make it 3-2.
Nine goals and PSG's decisive stretch
In the second half, the Parisians quickly extended their lead: Kvaratskhelia completed a brace, and Dembélé scored his second goal of the match. Bayern responded with goals from Upamecano and Díaz, narrowing the gap to a minimum, but were unable to equalize.
